Alberto Aquilani maintains Juventus do not have a psychological issue, but “we did shoot ourselves in the foot.”
The Bianconeri were leading 2-0 at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi last night, but with Marco Motta sent off they were eventually caught 2-2 by Cesena.
“We did shoot ourselves in the foot. When you're 2-0 up, then you have to control the situation a lot better, even if it was all more difficult with 10 men,” said the midfielder.
“I don't think it was a psychological issue at all. If we had remained XI against XI, then it would've been a completely different game.”
Ex-Roma star Aquilani was asked for his opinion on this afternoon's Derby della Capitale.
“I'd better shut up, otherwise someone might get cross...”
