Cagliari: Cash only for Matri

Cagliari chief Massimo Cellino has warned Juventus that he only wants cash for Alessandro Matri.

The new Italian international arrived at Juve on loan in January with an option to buy fee fixed at €15.5m.

Reports last week suggested that the two clubs had agreed a deal which would see Juve hand over €10m and three youngsters.

However, Rossoblu owner Cellino insists he is offering no discounts on the deal which was agreed at the start of 2011.

"I have already spoken with Juventus director general Beppe Marotta," Cellino stated. "I've warned him that I'm not interested in any of his youngsters."

The speculation suggested that Juve would give the Sardinians the services of Luca Marrone, Cristian Pasquato and Ciro Immobile for the forward.

Matri, who is now an Italian international, is desperate to stay in Turin.

"I'm pleased with what I've been able to do and therefore I hope to stay here, but considering the outcome of the season I can't be totally happy," he stated in late May.

"We're all upset about how the season's gone. This year we've only experienced bitterness, next year we only want to have satisfaction."
