Roma defender Juan is hoping to revive his career in the Italian capital under new boss Zdenek Zeman.
The Czech Coach, fresh from leading Pescara to the Serie B title, has signed a two-year deal at the Olimpico where he will replace Spaniard Luis Enrique.
“Zeman is one of the best and most stimulating Coaches in Italian football,” the centre-back told La Repubblica. “I really can’t wait to start working for him.
“I’m currently working to a rehabilitation programme after injury and I want to be back as soon as possible so I can understand Zeman’s football.
“I want to be totally ready by the time we start pre-season training.”
The veteran, who has just one year left on his deal at the Stadio Olimpico, had a form and injury affected 2011-12.
Juan, who joined the Giallorossi from Bayer Leverkusen in 2007, was used on just 16 occasions by Enrique this term.
