D'Aversa: 'Parma almost safe'

Parma Coach Roberto D’Aversa rued a missed chance by Gervinho and their failure to take the three points against Chievo, but admitted his side are now “almost safe” from relegation.

The Ducali drew 1-1 away to already relegated Chievo today and that stalemate made it four draws in a row for the Gialloblu, who are now in 15th place, eight points ahead of Empoli.

Lazio 'fine Milinkovic & Luis Alberto'

Lazio are expected to fine Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto after their red cards against Chievo.

Il Messaggero reports Milinkovic was fined €50,000 for being dismissed just 34 minutes into Lazio’s 2-1 defeat on Saturday.

The newspaper adds Luis Alberto will also receive a financial penalty but of a lesser value, given he was sent off deep in stoppage time.

Despite the pair being shown straight red cards, the FIGC should ban both players for only two of the Aquile’s five remaining Serie A games.

Il Corriere specifically states how the Coach asked his players what ‘virus’ had been going around.

He would have also quizzed them on why they suffered a meltdown against Chievo, resulting in red cards to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto.
