Hellas Verona return to Serie A

Hellas Verona have been officially promoted after spending just one season in Serie B thanks to their comeback win over Cittadella tonight.

The Gialloblu lost the first leg of the promotion decider 2-0 away, but won their home tie by 3-0, with the minnows reduced to nine men.

They are only the second ever side to win the Final after a two-goal deficit from the first leg, as Torino came back from a 4-2 defeat in 2005-06.

Milan Primavera youth team relegated

There were some shock outcomes to the Primavera youth team season, as Milan and Udinese were relegated, while Juventus missed out on the play-offs.

The Rossoneri conceded a last-gasp equaliser against Fiorentina that sent them down to the Primavera 2 division along with Udinese.

Genoa and Empoli will go head-to-head in the playout to see who joins them there next season, as the Grifone lost to Sassuolo.

As for the trophy, there were surprises here too, as Juventus failed to even make the play-offs, finishing in eighth place.
