Morata and Fagioli called up by Pirlo

Andrea Pirlo has announced the squad list for Juventus’ home game against Spezia tonight, and both Alvaro Morata and Nicolò Fagioli have been called up.

The match kicks off at 19.45 UK time.

The Old Lady coach has announced the squad to face Spezia and must cope without Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Juan Cuadrado, Arthur Melo and Paulo Dybala.

Fagioli has struggled with an intestinal problem, but has been called up, but Aaron Ramsey is expected to start.

Agent hopes Fagioli follows in Del Piero’s footsteps

Nicolò Fagioli’s agent Andrea D’Amico hopes the Juventus starlet follows in Alessandro Del Piero’s footsteps without being sold like Moise Kean or Sebastian Giovinco.

Fagioli, 20, made his Serie a debut against Crotone on Monday.

“It was a special moment for Nicolò. We are happy because we trust Juventus and the club have been perfect,” his agent Andrea D’Amico told Tuttosport.

Crotone ‘wanted Pirlo and Fagioli’

Crotone sporting director Beppe Ursino says he wanted to hire Andrea Pirlo at the end of the 2019-20 campaign and claims Junior Messias ‘could play for Juventus.’

The Serie A strugglers face the Old Lady at the Allianz Stadium on Monday evening and the Sharks’ director spoke to Tuttosport revealing he wanted to hire Andrea Pirlo at the end of the last season.

“I had thought about Pirlo as our coach Giovanni Stroppa had many admirers, given what he had achieved with us in Serie B," Ursino claimed.

Fagioli or Ramsey to start vs. Crotone

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus’ Aaron Ramsey could start against Crotone even if Andrea Pirlo did also try Nicolò Fagioli in training.

With Arthur injured and Adrien Rabiot suspended, Pirlo has lack of options in the middle of the park.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Weston McKennie are set to start against the Serie A strugglers on Monday and either Fagioli or Ramsey could take a third spot in midfield.

Report: Fagioli to Sassuolo, Scamacca to Juventus

Juventus and Sassuolo will reportedly meet today to close the deal for Gianluca Scamacca, with Nicolò Fagioli moving in the opposite direction.

Il Corriere dello Sport reveals the two parties have scheduled to meet today, to complete the negotiation over a move for Scamacca, who’s currently on loan at Genoa.

The 22-year-old striker, capped 12 times by Italy Under-21, has been valued at €22m, but the newspaper reports the attacking midfielder Nicolò Fagioli is set to move in the opposite direction for €12m.
