Miha unhappy with Toro and ref

Sinisa Mihajlovic criticised both the referee and his own players after Torino’s defeat against Atalanta.

Iago Falque’s opener for the Granata was cancelled out when debutant Joe Hart’s error from a corner allowed Andrea Masiello to score. Franck Kessie’s late penalty then completed Atalanta’s comeback.

“I’m not going to speak about the referee, but if I get angry there is a reason,” Mihajlovic told reporters.

Miha: Toro need more

Sinisa Mihajlovic wants to sign another playmaker and central defender before Torino begin their season.

The Granata beat Premier League side Hull City 2-1 in a pre-season on Saturday evening, but injury concerns over Davide Zappacosta, Arlind Ateji and Daniele Baselli have left the Stadio Olimpico boss looking for new arrivals.

“It’s a shame about these injuries, but the balance is still positive,” Mihajlovic commented following the victory over the Tigers.

‘Mihajlovic wants Kucka at Toro’

Torino Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic reportedly wants to raid his old club Milan for the signature of Juraj Kucka.

The Serbian tactician took over at Stadio Olimpico this summer following the departure of Giampiero Ventura, having been sacked by the San Siro club towards the end of last season.

According to Sky Sport, Mihajlovic has told the Granata board that he wants a reunion with the Slovakian midfielder, who was recently a part of his country’s Euro 2016 squad.

Berlusconi visits Milan training

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi made a visit to the players and Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic at training today.

The patron’s Friday visits to Milanello were a feature under Pippo Inzaghi last season, but the former Prime Minister has taken a backseat so far this season.

However, Berlusconi was present for the end of training today, watching the players work and then stopping to talk with Mihajlovic.

Berlusconi has issued veiled criticism of the Serbian at times this season, but the Rossoneri have won their last two Serie A games.
