Pisacane to Lecce

Cagliari defender Fabio Pisacane seems set for a move to Lecce.

A confrontation between the 34-year-old centre-back and the Rossoblu President Tommaso Giulini has, according to Tuttomercatoweb, led to a transfer to Serie B this winter.

The report reveals Pisacane has been offered a contract until June 2022 with the Giallorossi.

Lecce were relegated from Serie A last term and are currently sixth in the second tier, eight points behind leaders Empoli.

Balotelli injured during warm-up

Monza forward Mario Balotelli reportedly suffered an injury before the match against Lecce and is not even on the bench for the Serie B match today.

DAZN reports the former Inter, Milan and Brescia forward has suffered a knock in the flexor muscle in the left leg during the warm up.

Christian Grytkjaer has replaced the former Italy international in the team, as Balotelli is not even on the bench.

Sky Sport Italia reports the attacker will undergo the necessary tests and assess the extent of the physical problem.

The AIA has announced the referees for Serie A Week 14 and Marco Di Bello has been given Milan-Lazio at San Siro on Wednesday.

Serie A Week 14 kicks off with Crotone-Parma and Juventus-Fiorentina on Tuesday, before the eight remaining games will be carried out on Wednesday.

Marco Di Bello has been given the big match between League leaders Milan and Lazio at San Siro on Wednesday night, whilst Federico La Penna will oversee Juventus-Fiorentina.

Serie A dates and times until Week 29

The Lega Serie A has announced the dates and times of the matches from Week 17 to Week 29 of Serie A 2020-21.

Udinese-Atalanta, postponed from Serie A Week 10, will be recovered on January 20, 2021.

The Roma derby will be played on Friday evening on January 15 and the Milan derby will come on February 21.

Napoli-Juve will play on February 13 and the next Derby della Mole will take place on April 3.

Insigne given fine and one-match ban

The Disciplinary Commission has given a one-match ban and a €10,000 fine for Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne after his sending off against Inter.

The Partenopei captain was sent off for his protests after Davide Massa awarded Inter the match-winning penalty at San Siro.

Insigne saw red after insulting the referee and has been given a one-match suspension in Serie A, along with a €10,000 fine. The Napoli forward reportedly apologised to the match official after the match.

The AIA has announced the referees for Serie A Week 12, with Daniele Doveri in charge of Juventus-Atalanta and Davide Massa overseeing Inter-Napoli.

Week 12 sees Doveri in charge of his sixth Serie A match this term when Atalanta travel to the Allianz Stadium for the early kick-off this Wednesday.

Massa is the match official when the Nerazzurri’s home game against Gennaro Gattuso’s men and the 39-year-old will oversee Napoli for the first time this term. Inter won 2-0 against Genoa when Massa was at the whistle in October.

Lega Serie A's tribute to Rossi

The Lega has issued a press release with all the initiatives to remember and pay tribute to Paolo Rossi in Serie A Week 11.
