Turkish interest in Juan Jesus

Roma defender Juan Jesus is wanted in Turkey by both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

The Brazilian managed just four competitive appearances this season, most of them as a substitute, and his contract at the Stadio Olimpico expires in June 2021.

According to Turkish site Fotomac, Fenerbahce are eager to bring the 28-year-old centre-back over this summer.

They aren’t the only contenders, as Galatasaray are also showing interest in Juan Jesus.

He left Brazil in January 2012 for Inter, moving to Roma in 2016.

Inter sending Moses back to Chelsea

Inter are not prepared to pay the €12m option to buy Victor Moses from Chelsea, so it increasingly looks as if he’ll return to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The wing-back had been on loan at Fenerbahce, but cut that experience short in January to reunite with Antonio Conte at San Siro.

Moses made three Serie A appearances, two in the Coppa Italia and two in the Europa League, most of them as a substitute.

Multiple sources state that Inter want a discount on the €12m option to buy, but The Sun newspaper insists Chelsea are standing firm.

Clubs line up for Cetin loan

Roma defender Mert Cetin is repeatedly linked with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, but could stay in Italy for Hellas Verona, Sassuolo or Sampdoria.

The 23-year-old centre-back cost €3m to purchase from Genclerbirligi last summer, but has made only five Serie A appearances.

He is likely to go out on loan next term, and a return to Turkey had been expected, with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce ready to give him regular playing time.

However, Tuttomercatoweb claim Cetin could well remain in Serie A for a while longer and have a loan experience in Italy.

Inter won't take up Moses option

Inter do not wish to take up the €12m option to buy Victor Moses from Chelsea following his January arrival, according to Italian reports.

The 29-year-old interrupted his loan spell at Fenerbahce in January so that he could continue the campaign with Antonio Conte’s side.

However, he made just seven competitive appearances, many of them off the bench.

Calciomercato.com report that Inter are not prepared to pay the full €12m option to buy at the end of the season.

Fenerbahe favourites for Asamoah

Kwadwo Asamoah is more likely to leave Inter for Fenerbahce than Watford, claim reports in Italy and Ghana.

The 31-year-old wing-back is expected to exit San Siro this summer, as his contract is due to expire in June 2021 and he has fallen down the pecking order.

According to FCInternews.it, there are offers on the table from both Premier League side Watford and Turkish club Fenerbahce.

More detail is provided by ghanasoccernet.com, who suggest negotiations are above all advanced with Fenerbahce, so they are his first choice.

Watford and Fenerbahce like Asamoah

Inter full-back Kwadwo Asamoah has proposals from Watford and Fenerbahce, having barely featured at San Siro this term.

The Ghana international is now 31 years old and his contract with the Nerazzurri runs until June 2021.

Antonio Conte has not looked to Asamoah this season, giving him only 11 competitive appearances between Serie A and the Champions League.

According to FCInterNews.it, he is destined to leave Italy this summer, with two intriguing offers.

Giampaolo to save Milan €4m?

Marco Giampaolo will save Milan €4m if he becomes Fenerbahce’s next coach, it is reported.

Links between Giampaolo and Fener have intensified today, and Tuttosport claims Milan are keeping a close eye on negotiations.

That is because, as per the newspaper, the Rossoneri would be able to write off the coach’s contract if he is appointed by the Turkish club.

Although the 52-year-old was sacked by the Diavolo back in October, he remains on their payroll.

Giampaolo the next Italian in Turkey?

Marco Giampaolo will become only the seventh Italian coach to work in Turkey if he is named Fenerbahce’s next boss.

Giampaolo was sacked by Milan earlier last October, and the Serie A policy limiting coaches to one club per season has prevented him from returning to an Italian bench in 2019-20.

Now, reports in Turkey and Italy claim Fener want the unemployed 52-year-old to fill their managerial vacancy.
