Empoli have officially sold attacking midfielder Miha Zajc to Fenerbahce and signed Salih Ucan permanently.

Transfermarkt reports Fener have paid €6.5m for Zajc, with €1m of that covering Salih’s permanent transfer to Empoli.

The 24-year-old ends his spell with 12 goals and 20 assists in 68 appearances for the Tuscan side, having helped them into Serie A.

The Turk, meanwhile, is a year older, previously played for Roma and has spent the past season on loan at Empoli.

Candreva no to West Ham or Fenerbahce

Antonio Candreva has reportedly again decided to turn down West Ham United and Fenerbahce, as he is determined to win his place with Inter.

This is a repeat of what already happened last summer, when the winger rejected all proposals to leave San Siro.

He has managed one goal in 12 competitive appearances this season and has dropped down the pecking order behind Keita Balde Diao and Matteo Politano.

However, Tuttosport insist Candreva is still refusing to leave, especially for a move so far abroad to West Ham or Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce and Bologna eye Ceccherini

Fiorentina defender Federico Ceccherini has offers on the table from Bologna and Fenerbahce, it’s reported.

According to Fotomac, there is interest from Turkey for the 26-year-old centre-back.

He joined the Viola from Crotone in July 2018 for €3m, although the Calabrese club also retained 20 per cent of any future sale.

Bologna are known to be tracking Ceccherini for a January loan, but Fenerbahce could provide a more exciting option.

Fiorentina gave him only four Serie A appearances this season.

Fenerbahce push Milan for Fabregas

Milan are only prepared to sign Cesc Fabregas for free, so Fenerbahce are said to be in talks with Chelsea.

The 31-year-old is under contract until the end of the season, but is getting very little playing time under Maurizio Sarri.

While the Rossoneri have never disguised their interest in the Spaniard, they are limited by Financial Fair Play parameters.

According to the latest reports, Milan have told Fabregas he can only join as a free agent, so must either terminate his contract early by mutual consent or convince Chelsea to let him leave on loan.

Fenerbahce target Juan Jesus

Fenerbahce are said to be showing an interest in Roma centre-back Juan Jesus, with an offer worth €11m.

According to Takvim, this is the revival of an earlier approach for the Brazilian defender.

There is a strong rapport between Monchi and the Fenerbahce director of sport Daniel Comolli.

It’s reported any proposal would have to be worth around €11m to be successful.

The 27-year-old has been at Roma since 2016, arriving in Italy for Inter in January 2012.
