Turkish offers for Kalinic

Milan striker Nikola Kalinic is considered hot property in Turkey, with interest from Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Croatia international is likely to end up in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 30-year-old was a big investment from Fiorentina last summer, costing €25m, but contributed only six goals and six assists in 41 competitive games.

While China was an option, it now seems as if Turkey is the next destination, with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas all ready to swoop.

Paletta option for Boca Juniors

Gabriel Paletta’s move to Fenerbahce has broken down, so the ex-Milan defender could join Boca Juniors, though Gustavo Gomez is still hopeful.

The Rossoneri terminated their contract with Paletta by mutual consent, allowing him to find a new club without a transfer fee or existing salary.

Paletta had been on the verge of a switch to Fenerbahce, but according to the latest reports from Fanatik, those negotiations have broken down because they were unable to free up a ‘foreign player’ slot in the squad.

Turkish clubs want Calhanoglu

Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are both interested in taking Hakan Calhanoglu away from Milan in January, according to Bild.

The German newspaper reports of strong interest from the two clubs.

Although Calhanoglu is a Turkey international, he was born and raised in Germany, spending his entire career in the Bundesliga until the €22m plus bonuses transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Milan.

He has struggled for playing time and suffered from muscular problems too, prompting the possibility of a January exit.

Calhanoglu courted in Turkey

Milan are considering proposals from Turkey to sell Hakan Calhanoglu in January, claims the Corriere dello Sport.

The 23-year-old midfielder was snapped up from Bayer Leverkusen over the summer for €22m plus bonuses.

He contributed two goals and six assists in 19 competitive games, which is by no means a poor tally, but his overall performances have been disappointing.

Calhanoglu is again out with a muscular injury and his delicate frame is raising some questions.

Fenerbahce want Bajic

Udinese could loan or sell Bosnia international Riad Bajic in January, with Turkish side Fenerbahce interested.

The 23-year-old centre-forward was bought from Konyaspor over the summer for €5.5m, so a significant investment from the Friuli club.

However, he has made just four appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia for a grand total of 78 minutes of football.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Bajic is expected to leave Udinese in the January transfer window.

Nani flies in for Lazio medical

Nani has arrived in Rome in order to undergo a medical before completing a move to Lazio.

It was reported last night that a deal had been struck between the Biancocelesti and Valencia for the Portuguese winger.

And this morning, this was confirmed to be true when the former Manchester United man was pictured touching down at Rome’s Ciampino airport.

Lazio are said to have already agreed personal terms with the 30-year-old, so once the formalities of the medical are completed he will officially be unveiled as an Aquile player.

Agent: ‘Gomez staying at Milan’

Gustavo Gomez’s agent confirms a move to Fenerbahce has fallen through - “he is and remains a Milan player”.

It appeared the centre-back was close to joining the Turkish club, but it was reported earlier today that a deal had collapsed over wages and now Gomez’s representative has confirmed as much.

“In the last few hours, when we were in the midst of negotiations between Milan and the Turkish club, Fenerbahce changed the cards on the table in respect to the wage paid to Gustavo,” Augusto Paraja admitted, speaking to Sky.

Gomez to Fenerbahce collapses?

Gustavo Gomez’s move from Milan to Fenerbahce has collapsed due to a disagreement over wages, according to reports.

The Paraguayan centre-back appeared to be close to a move to Turkey, but it was reported yesterday that talks had stalled.

Now Sky Italia is reporting that the deal has collapsed, but due to Gomez’s wages rather than the Rossoneri’s price tag.

Fenerbahce fall back on Gomez?

Milan’s negotiations with Fenerbahce for Gustavo Gomez appear to have taken a turn for the worse, claim Tuttomercatoweb.

The defender only arrived last summer from Lanus for €8.5m, but made just 19 competitive appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

He has been left out of the Rossoneri’s official matches so far this season, as he is on the transfer list.

Tuttosport had reported this morning that Fenerbahce were offering a two-year loan for €4m with obligation to buy for another €5m.
