Thiago Silva’s agent wants to clarify that his contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs to 2018 and he has “not talked to Juventus.”

There were multiple reports a few weeks ago that the defender was getting ready to walk away as a free agent when his deal was due to expire at the end of this season.

Silva: I want to stay at PSG

Reported Juventus target Thiago Silva has confirmed his desire to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and extend his contract beyond this summer.

Silva’s contract with PSG expires at the end of the season, with Juve said to be interested in a Bosman swoop, while a return to a Milan has been mooted, but the defender made it clear his priority was to remain Rouge-et-bleu.

“My future? I’ve decided: I want to stay at PSG,” he said after Sunday’s goalless draw with Marseille.

Juve join Milan in Pepe interest
Juventus may make a move for Real Madrid’s Pepe as as an alternative to rumoured transfer target and fellow Brazilian Thiago Silva.
 
The tough tackling 33-year-old will become a free agent in the summer, and the Bianconeri have now joined Milan in showing an interest in the player, according to Tuttosport.

There are reports Juventus could release Leonardo Bonucci to Manchester City if they get Thiago Silva from Paris Saint-Germain.

Juventus would consider a move for Paris-Saint-Germain centre back Thiago Silva, but only if the Brazilian could be secured for free.

Thiago Silva 'ready to leave PSG'

Thiago Silva’s agent confirmed he’ll “look to leave” Paris Saint-Germain and “already has offers from three or four big clubs.”

The Brazilian has repeatedly been linked with a return to Milan when the new Chinese owners take over in November.

“It is very important for everyone, including PSG, that things are clear in December,” agent Paulo Tonietto told Le Parisien.

“If Paris Saint-Germain do not want to offer him an extension between now and then, we will look to leave.
