Gervinho and Bruno Peres to join Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor President Ahmet Agaoglu revealed Gervinho and Bruno Peres will join the Turkish club at the end of the season.

Both the Parma striker and the Roma defender will see their contracts expire in June and are set to complete free moves to Turkish side Trabzonspor.

“They will sign their contracts within 8-10 days,” Trabzonspor President Ahmet Agaoglu told Fanatik.

“Those are two done deals, we are going to finalize the agreements in the first days of June.”

Report: Jankto has offer from Trabzonspor

Sampdoria are reportedly entering talks with Trabzonspor over Jakub Jankto, but the midfielder is not convinced.

Il Secolo XIX reports the Turkish side are interested in the Czech Republic international and have already offered the 25-year-old a lucrative deal.

Trabzonspor are in talks with Sampdoria and are hoping to secure a deal with the Blucerchiati.

The midfielder, however, is reportedly not convinced about the destination and seems set to reject the Turkish club.

Osorio from Porto to Parma

Parma are on the verge of signing FC Porto defender Yordan Osorio after his loan spell at Zenit St Petersburg.

Sportitalia, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Record and A Bola are confident they are down to the details of the negotiation.

The 26-year-old Venezuela international centre-back has been on the Porto books since 2018 and spent last season on loan with Zenit.

He had been heavily linked with a transfer to Turkish side Trabzonspor, but Parma seem to have done a deal instead.

Report: Rangers want Skov Olsen on loan

Glasgow Rangers have reportedly joined the chase for winger Andreas Skov Olsen, as Bologna consider sending the youngster out on loan in 2020-21.

Il Corriere di Bologna claims a host of clubs have lined up to sign Skov Olsen on loan from Bologna this summer.

The newspaper says Danish giants FC Copenhagen have come forward, hoping to bring the 20-year-old back home for a short period.

The report claims Bologna are considering letting the player leave to find first-team football next season and have received offers from Besiktas and Trabzonspor already.

Napoli consider Sorloth

Napoli are reportedly asking after Norway international Alexander Sorloth, a centre-forward who is owned by Crystal Palace and currently on loan at Trabzonspor.

According to Radio Kiss Kiss, Sorloth is the latest candidate to replace Arkadiusz Milik, whose contract renegotiations have hit a stumbling block.

The 24-year-old can play in a variety of forward roles and is still on the books of Crystal Palace.

He joined Trabzonspor on loan in August 2019, with option to buy that could become an obligation under certain conditions.

Sturridge heads for Trabzonspor

Although Atalanta and Bologna were among clubs interested in Daniel Sturridge, he is reportedly flying for talks with Trabzonspor.

Gervinho brace against Trabzonspor

Gervinho twice gave Parma the lead and Luigi Sepe saved a penalty in a prestigious 2-2 friendly draw with Trabzonspor.

Sepe was immediately kept busy with a save on Abdulkadir, but Gervinho opened the scoring when he redirected a deflected corner from close range.

Joao Pereira got the equaliser by dribbling past Antonino Barillà and floating an extraordinary shot into the far top corner.

Barillà was caught out again on Abdelkadir and gave away a penalty, but Sepe managed to save ex-Milan midfielder Jose Sosa’s spot-kick.

Verona announce Trabzonspor friendly

Hellas Verona have announced they’ll play Turkish club Trabzonspor in a friendly on July 29.

The game will take place in the Aktivpark in St Georgen an der Gusen, Austria, where Verona are currently holding their pre-season training camp.

Hellas just earned promotion to Serie A via the play-offs, after just one season in Serie B.
