Bruno Alves set for Parma

Rangers defender Bruno Alves is reportedly set to return to Serie A with newly-promoted Parma.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Alves is expected in Emilia-Romagna ‘soon’.

Rangers should receive a transfer fee for the Portugal international, given he has a year left on his contract.

Alves, who turns 37 in November, played 36 times in Serie A for Cagliari during the 2016-17 campaign, prior to joining up with countryman Pedro Caixinha in Scotland.

Benevento await Bruno Alves

Benevento have a deal with with Rangers for Bruno Alves, but the Portugal international still needs to agree personal terms.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs have already managed to reach an agreement on the transfer, just six months after he came to Glasgow.

More negotiations are expected on Sunday, at which point Bruno Alves will give his response.

It’d be a return to Serie A for the 36-year-old defender, who spent last season at Cagliari and joined Rangers as a free agent in July.

Bruno Alves set for Benevento?

Glasgow Rangers defender Bruno Alves could be heading back to Serie A for bottom of the table Benevento.

Sky Sport Italia claim that negotiations are underway between the two clubs for a possible January transfer.

It would be a return to Italy for the 36-year-old, who spent last season at Cagliari.

He moved to Rangers as a free agent in July and has played 17 competitive games for the Scottish side, scoring one goal.

Official: Rangers sign Alves

Rangers have officially confirmed the signing of Cagliari defender Bruno Alves on a two-year deal.

The Portuguese defender joined the Isolani from Fenerbahce last summer, but it was announced today that he had left the club.

Given that he was in Glasgow for talks with the Gers, it was only a matter of time before his move to Scotland was confirmed, and the Ibrox club has now announced his signing.

Cagliari: ‘Goodbye Alves’

Cagliari have confirmed Bruno Alves has left the club, as he’s in Glasgow for talks with Rangers.

The defender joined the Isolani from Fenerbahce last summer, making 36 appearances and scoring once.

However, it was revealed yesterday that he is in Scotland for talks with the Gers, and his current club have confirmed that he’ll leave.

Bruno Alves in Rangers talks

Cagliari defender Bruno Alves is in Glasgow for negotiations with Rangers after just one year in Serie A.

The 35-year-old Portugal international was in the squad that won Euro 2016, then joined Cagliari as a free agent from Fenerbahce.

Sky Sports UK claim Alves is flying in for talks with Rangers to become the first signing under new Coach Pedro Caixinha.

This season he made 36 Serie A appearances for the Sardinians and scored one goal.

He is under contract with Cagliari until June 2018.

Glasgow Rangers have set their sights on Cagliari and Portugal defender Bruno Alves for next season.

The Scottish fallen giants have climbed their way back into the top flight after bankruptcy and are now trying to strengthen the squad to rival Celtic.

According to the Daily Express, Rangers and their new manager Pedro Caixinha believe Bruno Alves would bring valuable experience to the side.

He only joined Cagliari as a free agent last summer from Fenerbahce, fresh from winning the Euro 2016 tournament with Portugal.
