Romagnoli: 'I am happy at Milan'

Alessio Romagnoli assured he is “happy in Milan and have many reasons to stay,” while missing the Champions League “would not be a failure.”

The centre-back has been linked with Juventus as well as a possible move abroad to the Premier League.

“I am happy in Milan, I will remain here as long as I am happy, then we’ll see,” Romagnoli told reporters at the Premio Gentleman event.

“The club has to talk about rumours, not me. I am happy in Milan and I am the captain, so I have many reasons to stay.

Lippi: 'Sarri or Pochettino for Juve?'

Marcello Lippi alluded to the new Juventus Coach coming from a club involved in the European Finals – Maurizio Sarri or Mauricio Pochettino.

Max Allegri was dismissed last week, despite having one more year left on his contract and winning the team’s eighth consecutive Serie A title.

'Steps forward' in Sarri to Juve

Juventus have reportedly moved closer to appointing former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as their new Coach.

Without going into too much detail, Sportitalia claims ‘steps forward’ have been taken with regards to Sarri replacing Max Allegri.

Sportitalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla is known for his links to the Coach, having first broke news of his switch to Chelsea last summer.

The 60-year-old is expected to leave Chelsea at the end of the season, despite leading them back into the Champions League and on the verge of Europa League glory.

New Napoli ready at last

If the 4-1 triumph over Inter was a sign of things to come, Kaustubh Pandey believes Napoli fans should get ready for take-off.

Carlo Ancelotti called the 4-1 demolition of Inter “a demonstration of what Napoli could be next season.” After a year of tinkering, tweaking and development, the Partenopei prototype might finally be ready to launch.

It is tough to place this season in a ‘success’ or ‘failure’ bracket for Napoli. They did get knocked out of the Europa League in the quarter-finals at the hands of Arsenal, but will finish second in the league.

Juve: Inzaghi, Sarri or Mihajlovic

Simone Inzaghi is the hot favourite for the Juventus job and is not giving a Press conference today, while Sinisa Mihajlovic and Maurizio Sarri have also been contacted.

Juve announced Max Allegri’s departure and he will have his final game at the Juventus Stadium this evening against Atalanta.

The race is on to find his successor and it has quickly become apparent that Pep Guardiola, Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane would be very difficult to prise away from Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid.

Roma ask after Allegri?

Max Allegri has emerged as a surprise candidate for the Roma bench, as President James Pallotta has reportedly asked after the Juventus Coach.

According to both Il Messaggero and the Corriere dello Sport, Allegri is the hot name on the list of potential candidates to take over at the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

Allegri will be a free agent, as he agreed to terminate his Juventus contract by mutual consent on Friday.

Juve approach Sarri, but Conte...

Juventus have reportedly contacted Maurizio Sarri to replace Max Allegri, while Pavel Nedved keeps pushing for Antonio Conte.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sportitalia, the Bianconeri see Sarri as their best option, even though he is under contract at Chelsea until 2021.

There is a long list of names of potential new Coaches, with the likes of Simone Inzaghi, Didier Deschamps, Conte, Jose Mourinho and even Sinisa Mihajlovic linked in recent days.
