Roma and Everton in Bouanga battle

Roma, Everton, Rennes and Real Betis are reportedly in the running for Saint-Etienne attacking winger Denis Bouanga.

According to France Football, the Giallorossi are among the contenders for the 25-year-old.

He plays primarily on the left side of a trident attack, but can also work on the right, as he is right-footed.

Saint-Etienne bought him from Nimes last summer for €4.5m and he certainly made an impact this season, with 12 goals and five assists in 35 competitive appearances.

Nzonzi to remain at Rennes

The Ligue 1 season finishing early has a knock-on effect for Roma, as it means Steven Nzonzi will automatically extend his loan at Rennes.

The midfielder has made the move in January after interrupting his spell at Galatasaray due to his row with the club.

This deal had a clause written in meaning that if Rennes qualified for the Champions League, Nzonzi would automatically renew his loan for another season.
