International Champions Cup schedule

The dates and venues of Juventus, Milan, Roma and Inter matches in the International Champions Cup, including Roma-Barcelona and Milan-Manchester United.

These are provisional, but provided by ESPN and most are believed to be accurate.

Milan will take on Manchester United in Los Angeles on July 25, with Roma against Tottenham Hotspur the same day in San Diego and Juventus with Bayern Munich in Philadelphia.

On July 28, Juventus are in action again with Benfica in New York.

Totti: 'Roma not a bonbon'

Buffon: 'I'd say it all again'

Juventus captain Gigi Buffon defended his comments about referee Michael Oliver. “I had to let that out, even if it damaged my reputation.”

The goalkeeper was sent off for dissent after referee Oliver awarded a controversial last-gasp penalty, sending Real Madrid through to the Champions League semi-final.

Buffon was criticised for his over the top comments, including calling Oliver an “assassin of dreams”, but he broke his silence and doesn’t seem ready to apologise.

Ref Oliver receives death threats

Referee Michael Oliver and his wife have been the subject of abuse and even death threats, including text messages, according to reports.

The official was targeted after awarding a last-gasp penalty to Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final against Juventus.

He also sent off captain Gigi Buffon, who bitterly criticised the referee in public after the match.

Although Oliver does not have a presence on social media, his wife – also a referee – does and her Twitter account has been inundated with abusive messages.
