Klose: ‘One game at a time’

Decimated Lazio silencing doubters

Lazio’s rise to third place has gone under the radar, despite a crippling injury crisis that has hit the very core of the team, says Alasdair Mackenzie.

It seemed that the international break had come at the ideal moment for Lazio. A confident 2-0 win over Frosinone continued the Aquile’s imperious home form, as they recorded a sixth win from six across all competitions for the season.

But lo and behold, the one-week respite from domestic action has added more work to the schedules of the overworked Roman medical staff, with midfield linchpins Lucas Biglia and Marco Parolo picking up injuries on international duty that will render them unavailable for weeks.
