Could Real release Kaka for Inter?

Reports from some sources suggest Real Madrid are open to releasing Kaka for Leonardo's new-look Inter.

Ever since Leo took charge on Christmas Eve there have been rumours of a reunion between the player and the man responsible for taking him to Milan.

While many expect it will be an extremely difficult deal to see materialise for a number of reasons, there are those who suggest Kaka could make a sensational San Siro comeback.

Inter to keep tabs on Kaka

Inter haven't given up hope of signing Ricky Kaka and will monitor his progress with Real Madrid in the next few weeks.

Speculation is mounting that Inter boss Leonardo will push to be reunited with Kaka who he knew well at Milan.

The former Ballon d'Or winner is due to make his comeback after a long injury lay-off and Inter will monitor his progress with a view to launching a bid, even though their interest has been discouraged by the player.

Although Kaka denies it, reports continue to suggest new Inter Coach Leonardo will try to bring the Real Madrid star back to San Siro.

On Christmas Eve the Nerazzurri officially appointed Leonardo after terminating their contract with Rafa Benitez by mutual consent.

The former Milan boss was something of a surprise pick and opens up some intriguing transfer prospects.

“I do believe that Leonardo's arrival could facilitate Kaka's move to Inter,” agent and transfer expert Antonio Caliendo told Sky Sport Italia.

Cassano to pay Real to help Milan

Sampdoria's out-of-favour playmaker Antonio Cassano is apparently prepared to pay part of the €5m sell-on clause to Real Madrid so he can join Milan in January.

The 28-year-old's time at Sampdoria has come to an end after his colossal falling out with club owner Riccardo Garrone in late October.

Sampdoria took Cassano to court last week in order to rescind his contract, but the arbitration panel recommended that he be reintegrated.

Galliani: 'Cassano problem is Madrid'

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has confirmed a deal with Antonio Cassano and Sampdoria, “but the problem is Real Madrid.”

As part of the transfer that took him from Spain to Genoa, Real are owed €5m from his next move away from Samp.

“The negotiations for Cassano are at an advanced stage, but are not completed yet,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

“The problem is the money owed to Real Madrid. Who is going to pay it? Milan are not prepared to do so, neither are Sampdoria, so it's a real problem.

Mourinho wants Eto'o at Madrid

Reports in the Spanish Press claim Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho would like to be reunited with Inter striker Samuel Eto'o.

The Cameroon international was crucial to Inter's treble-winning campaign, often playing as a makeshift full-back on either side.

Real Madrid feel they need to reinforce their team up front in light of Gonzalo Higuain's recent injury problems with a herniated disc.

El Mundo Deportivo believes Mourinho has asked Real Madrid President Florentino Perez to make Eto'o another Galactico.

Milito to Madrid, Cassano to Inter?

Jose Mourinho is reportedly seeking a reunion with Diego Milito at Real Madrid, which would open the door for Antonio Cassano at Inter.

The former Nerazzurri Coach already tried to sign Milito over the summer after their Treble success, but could resume negotiations over the January transfer window.

Prandelli: 'Mou did nothing wrong'

Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli says Jose Mourinho's Cardgate was “nothing any other tactician hasn't done” and commented on the Serie A strike.

UEFA suspended Mourinho and fined his Real Madrid players after it was found he ‘ordered' them to receive second yellow cards for time-wasting, therefore clearing the disciplinary record for the knockout phase.

“Everyone does it and there's nothing strange about it,” insisted Prandelli of that incident against Ajax.

UEFA suspend Mou for Cardgate

Jose Mourinho has been suspended by UEFA and several fines against Real Madrid players for “improper conduct” in ‘Cardgate.'

An investigation was opened after the former Inter Coach appeared to send messages to players Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso during the 4-0 win away to Ajax.

They were on yellow cards, so were ‘ordered' to receive a second for time-wasting in order to sit out the remaining group phase game, having a clean disciplinary record for the knockouts.

Allegri: 'Mourinho sets a bad example'

Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri launched a stinging attack on Jose Mourinho. “He sets a bad example and insulted everybody in Italy.”

Mou had quite a few run-ins with Allegri when he was still in charge of Cagliari, having beaten the then-Inter boss to the Golden Bench award as Serie A Coach of the Year.

“He was here for two years and insulted everybody in Italy,” snapped Allegri in the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Mourinho is back in the headlines after UEFA opened an investigation for improper conduct.
