De Rossi not joining Real

Real Madrid will not make a summer bid for future Roma captain Daniele De Rossi, agent Ernesto Bronzetti maintains.

Real Madrid rekindle De Rossi interest

Real Madrid have rekindled their interest in Roma midfield general Daniele De Rossi, according to Marca.

The Spanish giants have a long-standing interest in the Italy international, but thus far De Rossi has resisted their overtures and stayed true to Roma.

De Rossi fits the profile of the prototypical Jose Mourinho midfielder and it's thought that he would form a partnership with Spain international Xabi Alonso.
