Young's message against bullying

Inter star Ashley Young appeared on YouTube Kids in the fight against bullying. ‘Kindness is contagious and the most effective way to combat bullying’.

The Nerazzurri defender sent a video message, urging kids to ‘be kind to each other’ and contribute to stop bullying.

The former England player, capped 39 times, started his career at Watford. He later played four seasons at Aston Villa, before moving to Manchester United.

Sky: Deulofeu moves to Udinese

Udinese have reportedly reached an agreement with Watford over Gerard Deulofeu.

The winger has been linked with a return to Italy, where he spent six months on loan at Milan in 2017.

Fiorentina seemed like a possible destination for the former Barcelona youngster, but Sky Sport Italia reveals the 26-year-old is on the verge of signing with Udinese.

The broadcaster claims the Friuli have reached an agreement with the Hornets and Deulofeu, who has recently recovered from a ruptured ACL.

Official: Troost-Ekong moves to Watford

Udinese have officially announced the permanent transfer for William Troost-Ekong, who moves to Watford.

The Nigerian centre-back has been sold to the Hornets and the Friuli confirmed the move on their official website.

“Udinese Calcio announce the permanent sale of Williams Troost-Ekong to Watford FC,” the statement read.

The 27-year-old defender has played 66 games for the Bianconeri, after having arrived from Bursaspor in August 2018 for €3.3m.

Official: Pereyra back at Udinese

Roberto Pereyra has officially moved back to Udinese after three years at Watford. ‘It’s a fairy-tale signing for us.’

The midfielder had worn the Udinese jersey from 2011 to 2014, before his move to Juventus, then on to Watford for €13.5m in 2016.

Now 29 years old, the midfielder is back in the Friuli region, as Watford and Udinese are both run by the Pozzo family.

Sky: Napoli in Deulofeu talks

Napoli have reportedly entered talks with Watford over Gerard Deulofeu, looking to sign the former Milan winger on loan with an option to buy.

Sky Sport Italia reports the Partenopei have contacted the Hornets and that the player will be open for a move to the San Paolo.

Napoli have therefore started negotiating a deal with the Championship side, who are prepared to cash in on the Spanish attacker.

The report claims Napoli want Deulofeu on loan with an option to buy but could be forced to make it an obligation to convince Watford.

Villarreal turn away from De Sciglio

Villarreal appear to have pulled out of their negotiations for Juventus full-back Mattia De Sciglio.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Spanish side turned their focus towards other transfer objectives.

Specifically, they are ready to pay €15m to Watford for Pervis Estupian instead.

Villarreal needed a replacement for Alberto Moreno, who suffered a serious knee injury in pre-season training.

Roma push Olsen towards Watford

Watford are said to be in negotiations for Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen, as the Giallorossi want to make sure it’s an obligation to buy.

According to Sportitalia, the scenario being discussed is a loan with option to buy, which would become an obligation if Watford are promoted to the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether Olsen would accept a drop down to the Championship.

The Sweden international has also been linked with Spanish side Celta Vigo.

Watford: 'Many clubs want Deulofeu'

Watford director of sport Cristiano Giaretta confirms ‘Italian, English, Spanish and German clubs are interested’ in Gerard Deulofeu, who is for sale at €20m.

The club was recently relegated from the Premier League and is therefore forced to change the transfer strategy to suit this new status.

“We want to get back into the Premier League and are ambitious. There will be some important sales, because some of our players are not at the Championship level and clearly relegation has changed things,” Giaretta told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Official: Udinese sell Sierralta to Watford

Udinese have officially sold Chile international defender Francisco Sierralta to Watford.

The 23-year-old first joined the club in 2017 from Granada and had loan spells with Parma and Empoli.

He made just one competitive appearance in the Udinese jersey, 11 for Empoli and 16 at Parma.

Sierralta has been sold to Watford, the English side recently relegated from the Premier League.

Both Udinese and Watford and owned by the Pozzo family, so regularly exchange players between them.
