Lazio make first Luis Suarez bid

Lazio are reportedly preparing an offer worth €15m plus bonuses for Watford striker Luis Suarez, who is currently on loan at Real Zaragoza.

The 22-year-old came up through the Granada and Watford youth academies, as both clubs were at the time owned by the Pozzo family, who also run Udinese.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the first proposal on the table from Lazio is worth €15m plus another €3-5m in performance-related bonuses.

Lazio target Colombian Suarez

Lazio are reportedly chasing the signature of Watford loanee Luis Suarez, who has bagged 17 goals in the Spanish Segunda Division this term.

Currently on loan at Real Zaragoza, the centre-forward has helped the club to second in the Spanish second tier this term, and Lazio are allegedly prepared to offer the €10m required to release him from the contract with the Hornets.

Masina 'dreams' of Bologna return

Watford full-back Adam Masina has admitted that he ‘dreams’ of returning to Bologna and captaining the club.

Masina began his career at Bologna and played almost 150 times for the Rossoblu before leaving to join Watford in the summer of 2018.

Despite his move away, the 26-year-old harbours hopes of turning out for the Emilian side again.

“My heart is and always has been at Bologna,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

Kwadwo Asamoah is more likely to leave Inter for Fenerbahce than Watford, claim reports in Italy and Ghana.

Marino: 'Premier League to announce it's over'

Udinese director Pierpaolo Marino – whose club shares owners with Watford – revealed this evening that “the Premier League is about to announce its season is over.”
