Pussetto to Watford

Udinese have reportedly accepted an offer of €8m from Watford for their winger Ignacio Pussetto, who will sign with the Hornets until June 2024.

The Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira reports that Pussetto will have his medical at the Vicarage Road today before he signs a four year contract with the Hornets.

The Argentine will depart the Friuli side after 12 appearances this term after the English side has agreed to reimburse them the exact amount Udinese paid for his services from Huracan in July 2018.

Watford in Pussetto talks

Udinese striker Ignacio Pussetto looks set to join Premier league side Watford, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Pussetto has been at Udinese since the summer of 2018, when he joined the Zebrette from Argentine side Huracan.

However the striker has failed to make an impact in Udine, and has only scored once this season in 12 appearances in Serie A.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio states that the striker is now heading towards a move to Watford.

PSV join Rodriguez race

PSV Eindhoven are the latest club linked with Milan left-back Ricardo Rodriguez, after Napoli, Watford and Fenerbahce.

The 27-year-old is due to leave San Siro in January, as he has lost his place in the side to Theo Hernandez, managing only five Serie A appearances this season.

According to De Telegraaf newspaper, PSV Eindhoven have joined the race for Rodriguez and would guarantee regular playing time in the build-up to Euro 2020.

He was signed from Vfl Wolfsburg for €15m in the summer of 2017, but never really won over the Milan fans.
