Enrique: 'Positive memories of Roma'

Barcelona Coach Luis Enrique has “positive” memories of Roma and calls Leo Messi “the best player in the history of football.”

This Champions League tie kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

“I return here a few years older and after a normal process of growth for a Coach,” said the man who sat on the Giallorossi bench in 2011-12.

Enrique: 'Fiorentina a strong side'

Luis Enrique called Fiorentina “a very strong side” and criticised Barcelona’s defending after a 2-1 defeat.

The Treble-winners were without stars including Leo Messi, Neymar and Javier Mascherano when capitulating at the Stadio Franchi in the International Champions Cup.

“I am not satisfied because we lost and the defence has to improve,” Enrique said in his Press conference.

Enrique: 'Juve are a great side'

Barcelona Coach Luis Enrique “expected” Juventus to trouble them, but gave a shout-out to Roma fans.

The Azulgrana emerged with a 3-1 victory in Berlin, though the second goal came against the run of play.

“It was as dangerous as expected. Juventus are a very strong side, but we did well to stay in the game and take our chances. I think we are worthy champions,” Enrique told Sky Sport Italia.

Luis Enrique believes the Champions League Final between Barcelona and Juventus will have “two teams fighting for the ball.”
