Radja right to stick with Roma

In a football world ruled by money, it’s almost impossible for Serie A players to reject the chance to move to any of Europe’s biggest teams. Sadly, Italy can no longer match the lucrative paycheques and the glamour that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain or the Premier League offers, which really makes the decision a no-brainer for most. The Paul Pogba transfer is the biggest proof that even Serie A’s most powerful team cannot match the financial might of Europe’s richest clubs.

‘Bonucci is happy at Milan’

Milan insist Leonardo Bonucci “totally believes” in their project, despite rumours he could leave the club.

It was reported this morning by Gazzetta dello Sport and La Repubblica that the Rossoneri captain is disillusioned after a bad start to the season, and could be willing to move abroad.

The Diavolo have responded to that in their Press round-up, declaring that the centre-back will remain at San Siro.

Bonucci disappointed by Milan?

It’s reported Leonardo Bonucci is disappointed by Milan, and it’s not impossible for him to move on in January or the summer.

The centre-back joined the Rossoneri from Juventus this summer, in one of the most shocking transfers of recent years.

Corradi's son seriously ill

Former Chievo, Inter, Valencia and Manchester City striker Bernardo Corradi revealed his eight-year-old son is seriously ill.

The Italy international retired in December 2012 after a brief spell in MLS with Montreal Impact.

His wife, actress and television personality Elena Santarelli, confirmed the heart-breaking news via a Facebook post.

“On November 30, it was as if I and my husband received a punch in the stomach without warning, a punch so strong that it takes your breath away and chills you to the bone in an instant.”

Chiellini: 'Art of defending lost'

Giorgio Chiellini called winning “a drug” for Juventus and fears “the art of defending” has been lost in Italy, but insists he was “always fair.”

The centre-back spoke to Undici magazine about his past, present and future in Turin.

Paulo Dybala’s agent reportedly infuriated Juventus by meeting with officials from Paris Saint-Germain.

Juventus could sell Alex Sandro to Chelsea or Manchester City in January, spending €20m on Roma full-back Emerson Palmieri.

The reports of a summer switch had already emerged yesterday, but today’s edition of La Stampa claims the situation is moving rapidly forward.

Diawara: ‘Torino game fundamental’

Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara says it’s “fundamental” to take all three points against Torino on Saturday.

CL: Juventus face Tottenham

Juventus will face Tottenham Hotspur for the first time in European competition, with Roma paired with Shakhtar Donetsk in today’s Champions League draw.

The draw for the Last 16 took place today in Nyon, with two Italian sides present after Napoli were eliminated.

Roma will play the side which finished above the Partenopei, as they’ve been drawn against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The two sides last met at the same stage in the 2010-11 season, with the Ukrainian side advancing 6-2 on aggregate.
