Chiesa: 'Passion for Milan and Sane'

Federico Chiesa admits his Fiorentina future is in doubt, but reveals a “passion” for Milan, Manchester City and Leroy Sane.

The 20-year-old winger spoke to the Corriere dello Sport and you can read the rest of his comments here.

“I never supported a club as such, but I was very passionate about the Milan full of champions, with Ricky Kaka always being my idol,” confessed Chiesa.

Alex Sandro 'will leave Juve'

Despite Alex Sandro’s protestations, a transfer intermediary who worked on negotiations with Chelsea insists he’ll “leave Juventus after a few years.”

The 27-year-old left-back today stated he had always ignored speculation and his “only thought was Juventus.”

However, agent Federico Pastorello painted a very different picture to Rai Sport.

Return to Serie A for Hart?

Joe Hart could return to Serie A next season, as the former Torino goalkeeper is open to another move abroad after West Ham United.

The England shot-stopper was loaned out by Manchester City to Torino last term.

He preferred to remain in the Premier League this time around and has been dropped to the bench at West Ham.

It’s expected Hart will return to Manchester at the end of the season and, according to the Daily Mail, he is ready to go abroad again.

Skriniar: 'Honoured to be at Inter'

Milan Skriniar insists his interview with Slovakian media was mistranslated. “I never thought or said I wanted to leave Inter. It’s an honour to be here!”

The former Sampdoria defender was quoted as telling Sport he had received “a breath-taking offer” in January and listed Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United as preferred destinations.

Skriniar: 'Breath-taking offer'

Inter defender Milan Skriniar reveals he received a “breath-taking offer in January,” but wouldn’t leave “to sit on the bench.”

The former Sampdoria man has seen his price-tag more than double in the six months since coming to San Siro.

He spoke to Slovakian paper Sport and was asked about a €65m offer from one of Europe’s top clubs in January.

Juventus top 10 for squad cost

Juventus are in the top 10 in Europe in terms of how much their squad cost to assemble, with Milan, Roma and Inter in the top 20 and Napoli 21st.

Today the CIES Football Observatory has released it’s squad recruitment cost list, updated after the January transfer window.

Juventus are the only Italian side to make the top 10, sitting eighth with a squad which cost €448m, according to the organisation.

That figure is dwarfed by the top teams on the list, with Manchester City paying €878m to assemble their squad.

Napoli second only to Man City

Napoli have the second best record in Europe’s top five leagues this season, ahead of Barcelona and second only to Manchester City.

The Partenopei are leading the Serie A standings after 20 victories, three draws and only one defeat – to second-placed Juventus.

This gives them an average of 2.62 points per game domestically.

As Barcelona were today held to a 0-0 draw by Getafe, their Liga average for the campaign is 2.57 points per game.

‘No discussions for Jorginho renewal’

Napoli meet for Jorginho renewal

Napoli will reportedly meet with Jorginho’s agents on Saturday, to ward off interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.

The midfielder is under contract until 2020, but his impressive form for Maurizio Sarri’s side is attracting interest from England.

According to this morning’s Corriere del Mezzogiorno, both City and United are ready to pay €40m to sign the Italian international.
