Valeri ref for Sassuolo-Juventus

Paolo Valeri will officiate the match between Sassuolo and Juventus, while Rosario Abisso takes Udinese-Lazio and Marco Piccinini works on Bologna-Napoli.

The AIA (Italian Referees’ Association) assigned the officials for Wednesday’s Serie A Week 33 matches.

Serie A: 'We want fans back'

Lega Serie A says it is ‘hopeful’ stadiums will be partially reopened to fans before the end of the season.

All 20 Serie A clubs held an assembly meeting today and the first topic of discussion was Sky’s refusal to pay its last instalment of TV rights money for 2019-20, in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Inglese: 'The worst period of my career'

Parma forward Roberto Inglese was back after almost six months out and helped the Gialloblu pick up a point in the 2-2 game against Bologna. ‘I’m happy to have returned in this manner’.

Inglese capped off his return by securing a draw in the 92nd minute of the match and spoke about his difficult period and the happy return after the final whistle.

Highlights: Parma 2-2 Bologna

Parma completed the most incredible of comebacks, as they were 2-0 down at the 92nd minute and still held Bologna 2-2.

It was an extraordinary Emilia-Romagna Derby at the Stadio Tardini, as the visitors took a commanding 2-0 lead through Danilo’s header and the Roberto Soriano curler from the edge of the box.

The Ducali tried to fight back in the second half and it seemed to be to no avail.

Parma: Team clear of COVID-19

Parma have been given the go-ahead to play Bologna today, as the entire matchday squad has tested negative for COVID-19, including the individual who was quarantined.

The Ducali had the first positive coronavirus test since the restart of Serie A in June, a member of their staff yesterday.

As per the protocol, the entire squad will stay in a training retreat for 15 days and be tested constantly, particularly the day before a game.
