Milan hold Genoa and Zenit summits

Milan are due several summits today with Genoa and Zenit for Axel Witsel, Suso, Diego Perotti, Antonio Nocerino and Jose Mauri.

The last few hours of the transfer window are when CEO Adriano Galliani tends to do big business, calling these ‘the days of the Condor.’

Several sources including Sky Sport Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and SportItalia are confident Galliani will meet Genoa President Enrico Preziosi at Forte dei Marmi today.

'Perotti not moving from Genoa'

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi says Inter target Diego Perotti is categorically not for sale, while dismissing talks of a Yuto Nagatomo deal.

The 27-year-old has been in the sights of Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio for some time now, but Preziosi has closed and bolted that door.

“We don't want to sell him,” he told FcInterNews.it. “He'll stay with Genoa at 100 per cent.

'Romagnoli to Milan at 99.8%'

Milan's joint-CEO Adriano Galliani says Alessio Romagnoli's transfer from Roma is 'done at 99.8 per cent', while Genoa President Enrico Preziosi joins the summit.

The Rossoneri executive has been in a meeting with Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini this evening over the defender's transfer.

The two teams were divided by a negotiable amount as Milan's original offer of €25m was deemed insufficient face to Roma's €30m demand.

Preziosi: 'Happy Samp lost!'

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi trolled Sampdoria with another aerial message. “I’m happy they went out of Europe.”

The Blucerchiati only got into the Europa League after Genoa were denied a UEFA licence for failing to register an alternative home venue.

Genoa set Perotti deadline

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi warned Inter and Napoli that “from tomorrow there will be no more Diego Perotti talks.”

The club had agreed a transfer to Watford FC, but he turned down the move.

“It’s not an ultimatum so much as calculating the timing and requirements around Perotti,” Preziosi told Sky Sport Italia.

“We are trying to keep hold of him with a contract renewal that is closer to his needs, even if it is beyond our usual capabilities.

Genoa President mocks Samp

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi flew a plane over fans with a message to mock Sampdoria’s Europa League exit.

There’s no love lost between the city rivals, so it was understandably tense when Genoa finished in front of Samp in the Serie A standings.

However, the Grifone were denied a UEFA licence for failing to register an alternative stadium and their Europa League spot went to Samp instead.

Last month the Blucerchiati supporters flew a small plane over the city with the message: ‘No licence, tough luck. Thanks Enrico.’
