Ballardini: 'Milan lack vision'

Ex-Lazio and Palermo Coach Davide Ballardini says Milan “lack vision” in spite of having many “excellent players.”

The Rossoneri seem to be coming short in performances and results at the moment, to the point that talk of a new Coach is already widespread.

Ballardini analysed their negative moment in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

“It's not very clear what they're trying to achieve,” he said.

“They have excellent players and they purchased some fantastic ones on top of those.

Zola or Zenga for Cagliari?

Zdenek Zeman is reportedly on the Cagliari chopping block with Delio Rossi, Walter Zenga, Davide Ballardini and Gianfranco Zola in the running.

The Coach met with President Tommaso Giulini for crisis talks on Friday after a 3-1 home defeat to Juventus.

The Sardinians are the only side without a home victory all season and have dropped into the relegation zone.

Above all, they are struggling to score goals, which is highly unusual for a Zeman team.

Cesena consider Ballardini

Cesena are considering Davide Ballardini or Serse Cosmi if they decide to sack Pierpaolo Bisoli.

The Sea Horses were promoted from Serie B via the play-offs in June.

The club is prepared to pull the plug on Bisoli if Cesena do not beat Atalanta in the next Serie A round.

According to CalcioNews24, the main candidate to take over is Ballardini, a former boss of Lazio, Bologna and Genoa.
