Kilmarnock sack Alessio

Former Juventus assistant Angelo Alessio has been sacked as coach of Scottish side Kilmarnock.

The 1-0 loss to Ross County on Saturday proved to be Alessio’s last game in charge of Killie, who are currently 20 points behind League leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premier League.

Despite that, he leaves the team in a respectable fifth place, having been forced to rebuild over the summer following the exits of several key players.
