Donadoni: 'China returning to normal'

Shenzhen FC coach Roberto Donadoni has revealed Chinese football is almost ready to resume after training continuously for over a month.

The former Italy CT has overseen Shenzhen the last year and as China tries to get back to normality, football has resumed with friendly matches.

Donadoni has revealed his men will play another match against Guangzhou Evergrande this weekend, in back-to-back friendlies against Fabio Cannavaro’s men, after their meeting last weekend.

Cannavaro: 'Dream of Italy job'

Italy icon Fabio Cannavaro has revealed that he ‘dreams’ of managing the Azzurri or Real Madrid one day.

Cannavaro recently led Guangzhou Evergrande to the Chinese title but has yet to coach in Europe.

Now, the former Real Madrid defender says he is ‘thinking big’, with Italy and Los Blancos in his sights.

“I started working as a coach one day, dreaming of coaching a club like Real Madrid,” he told Madrilista Real.

Chinese Parma fans donate masks

Chinese Parma fans have donated 2,000 protective face masks to the Serie A club, along with personalised messages showing their love for the team.

The kind gesture was organised by Parma superfan Nevin Gong, who posted the package containing over 2,000 protective face masks to the Stadio Tardini side.

It included various messages from the Ducali supporters in China, showing themselves with the shirts, scarves and even selfies alongside coach Roberto D’Aversa from a previous visit.

Donadoni: 'China has returned to life'

Shenzhen FC coach Roberto Donadoni has revealed they are training like normal in China, but football is still waiting for a ‘certain programme’.

The 56-year-old arrived in China last summer and spoke about the ‘surreal situation’ in the Far East to Radio Anch’io Sport.

“We are all wearing masks when we are outdoors. Life has returned like before. We’re in total freedom, except for checks on the premises and in the markets. For the rest, you are quite free.

FCInter1908.it writes that the club announced the new commercial partnership on their official Nerazzurri profile in China.

Lippi: 'Cannavaro is ready for Italy'

Former Italy CT Marcello Lippi has claimed Guangzhou Evergrande coach Fabio Cannavaro would be ready for a return to Europe: “He has wisdom and experience.”

The World Cup winners have had a similar path in the Far East, after Cannavaro took charge of Guangzhou Evergrande when Lippi stepped into the role of China CT.

The former defender also succeeded Lippi at the helm of the national side, as caretaker for just over a month between March 10 and April 28.
