Serie A Week 31 referees

The AIA has announced the referees for Serie A Week 31, with Daniele Orsato given Atalanta-Juventus and Daniele Doveri overseeing Napoli-Inter.

Fabio Maresca, who was at the whistle when Milan won 3-1 against Parma will not be stopped and continues as fourth official in the match with Sassuolo and Fiorentina.

Gianpaolo Calvarese will oversee Milan-Genoa on Sunday, ahead of Atalanta-Juventus and Napoli-Inter on a super Sunday.

Serie A clubs ask for Dal Pino's resignation

Il Sole 24 Ore reports a formal request from seven Serie A clubs asks for the resignation of the Lega President Paolo Dal Pino.

Seven Serie A clubs – including Juventus, Inter Napoli and Lazio – have formalized ‘an act of no confidence’ in the Lega Serie A President.

The report reveals the clubs have sent a letter requesting the resignation and a second letter hypothesises a complaint for mismanagement in the negotiations with private equity funds for the media company and the issue of TV rights.

Leao: 'Milan deserve Champions League spot'

Rafael Leao insists Milan ‘deserve to be in the Champions League’ and he doesn’t mind which role he takes in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s absence.

With Ibrahimovic suspended for offending the referee, it remains to be seen if Leao will lead the way against Genoa or Mario Mandzukic.

The Disciplinary Commission has suspended eight players ahead of Serie A Week 31, including Napoli's Hirving Lozano and Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been give a one-match ban after the red card against parma, but there are eight players disqualified in total after Serie A Week 30.

Benevento must cope without Alessandro Tuia against Lazio on Sunday, when the Biancocelesti are without suspended Felipe Caicedo.

When Cristiano Ronaldo threw his Juventus jersey to the ground yesterday, I didn't have the feeling it was meant to be a present for the ball boy. The kid took a while to figure out there was a Cristiano Ronaldo shirt on the ground.

He looked around quickly to see if someone else had seen it and then suddenly went over the advertisement board to pick it up. What a day it must have been for him.

Agent: 'McKennie extremely happy at Juve'

Agent David Muller said Weston McKennie seems ‘extremely happy’ at Juventus and doesn’t expect the midfielder to leave the club this summer.

McKennie contributed another goal in the 3-1 win over Genoa, taking his total tally to five goals in Serie A since his move to the Allianz Stadium.

Milan fourth youngest squad in Europe's top five Leagues

The CIES Football Observatory revealed Hellas Verona are the Serie A team with most minutes played by under-21s and Milan have the fourth lowest average age in the top five Leagues.

The research group within the International Centre for Sports Studies has examined the league minutes for footballers who have not yet turned 21 this season and Ivan Juric’s Hellas Verona are the leading side from Italy.

In the top five European Leagues, the highest figures were at Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, with three Ligue 1 sides following the BVB.
