Genoa to bring back Milito?

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has revealed his ambition to bring Inter striker Diego Milito back to the club for a third stint.

The Argentina international is an idol at Marassi and holds the club very close to his heart.

Milito is now 31 and has seen his season blighted by injury.

However, it's thought that he will stay at Inter beyond the summer.

Asked if there is a chance of Milito playing for Genoa again, Preziosi said: "I would like that a lot.

Genoa face competition for Rondon

Genoa are among several clubs interested in signing Malaga striker Jose Salomon Rondon, according to reports in Spain.

The 21-year-old Venezuela international has scored 12 goals in La Liga this season and is bidding to keep Malaga in the top division.

Rondon will almost certainly leave if Malaga don't survive, but in that eventuality he won't be short of offers.

Newcastle and Sevilla are reportedly preparing offers for the striker.

Preziosi wants effort or else...

Genoa chief Enrico Preziosi has warned his squad that they are playing for their futures over the rest of the season.

Stuck in mid-table, clear of any relegation worries and too far from European contention, Genoa seem to have little left to say over the next month.

That has led to speculation that Genoa may take their foot off the gas in the next few weeks, a claim Preziosi is infuriated by.

Gasperini quiet over future

Gian Piero Gasperini is refusing to comment on speculation linking him with Juventus and Roma.

The sacked Genoa boss has been associated with a summer switch to the two clubs given the uncertain futures of Gigi Del Neri and Vincenzo Montella.

"At this moment in time I see that all the clubs have Coaches," he said diplomatically. "Therefore it is only right that we wait for the last five games of the season and then see what happens."

Veloso and Rafinha to leave Genoa?

Genoa's two big summer signings Miguel Veloso and Rafinha look set to leave the club at the end of the season.

Both players were brought in amid great fanfare, but neither has lived up to expectation.

Veloso in particular has proven disappointing and Genoa will listen to offers for the Portuguese midfielder.

Rafinha has fared a little better, scoring a goal against Sampdoria in the Derby della Lanterna.

However, the former Schalke wing-back is being linked with a move back to Germany.

Iachini wants '100' win in Genoa

Beppe Iachini feels victory over Genoa is “from one to 100 a good solid 100” for Brescia's season.

The Rondinelle are battling against relegation and have taken points off some big clubs recently.

“From one to 100, winning against Genoa would be a good solid 100,” said the Coach.

“It's true there are another five games after this, but we are fighting back and it is important to turn that form into points.

“We are in good shape and proved that we can challenge anyone.”

“Boateng had a great season and Milan want to keep hold of him, based on the agreement we had previously set out,” revealed Genoa patron Preziosi on Radio Kiss Kiss.
