Ancelotti 'wavered' on Milan offer

Ernesto Bronzetti said “Milan tried everything to convince Carlo Ancelotti and he wavered a few times.”

CEO Adriano Galliani had several meetings over a few days in Spain after the Coach was sacked by Real Madrid, with FIFA agent and transfer advisor Bronzetti present.

“Galliani tried everything to convince him, but Carlo was stressed by the Real Madrid dismissal,” Bronzetti told Milan Channel, the official TV station of the club.

‘Galliani determined for Ancelotti’

FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti, speaks of Adriano Galliani’s pursuit of Carlo Ancelotti - ‘I’ve never seen him so determined’.

Milan’s joint-CEO has been in Madrid this week attempting to convince the Coach to return to San Siro, and Bronzetti, an intermediary for the deal reveals details of their meetings.

“I’ve known Galliani for 37 years,” the agent explained to Gazzetta TV.

Ancelotti meets Galliani again

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is having dinner with ex-Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti and agent Ernesto Bronzetti.

They already had a lengthy supper at the Hotel Wellington in Madrid last night, just hours after the tactician was sacked.

This time they decided to meet away from prying eyes at Ancelotti’s home.

Asked for a comment as he walked in, Galliani refused to utter a single word, only smiling for the cameras.

Milan are eager to bring Ancelotti back to his old club, where he won everything as both player and Coach.

Milan meet Ancelotti tonight

There are multiple reports that Carlo Ancelotti will leave Real Madrid and have dinner with Milan emissaries tonight.

The Coach is widely expected to face the sack after failing to win the Champions League or Liga this season.

According to Italian sources including Sky Sport Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com, the next few hours could be decisive for Ancelotti’s future.

Milan to offer €3.5m for Rami

Milan are apparently looking to pay Valencia only half of a previously agreed purchase fee for defender Adil Rami.
