La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Inter director Piero Ausilio was in the stands for Barcelona-PSG and Manchester City-Real Madrid and used his trip abroad to meet players’ agents and club directors.

Inter director Piero Ausilio was in the stands in Barcelona on Tuesday to watch the Catalans’ loss to PSG in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals and Real Madrid’s win on penalties over Manchester City the following day.

Gazzetta clarifies that Ausilio didn’t scout any specific player during these two matches, but used his trips to Spain and England to meet various players’ agents and club directors.

According to the report, Inter have been offered the chance to sign several footballers over the last few weeks so the Nerazzurri are making their assessments on how to strengthen the team in 2024-25 after securing the first two signings for next season: Mehdi Taremi from Porto and Piotr Zielinski from Napoli.

Both players will move to the Stadio Meazza on free transfers.
