Atalanta talks for Brekalo stall

Atalanta talks for Wolfsburg winger Josip Brekalo appear to have hit problems, both for the transfer fee and personal terms.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, negotiations are threatening to stall already.

That is because Wolfsburg want to sell on a permanent basis for €20m, whereas Atalanta are eager to try the 22-year-old out on loan first with an option to buy at the end of the season.

There is also the matter of personal terms, as the Croatia international reportedly wants €2.4m per season wages.
