Roma-Samp meet for Ibarbo

Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini and Sampdoria's director general Antonio Romei are in a meeting today over striker Victor Ibarbo.

The Colombian was signed by Sabatini in last year's winter transfer window in a move that was considered to be among the director's most ill-conceived.

Now that Sampdoria have reportedly shown interest in signing the player on a loan deal, it's plausible that Roma will respond with enthusiasm.

Today ReteSport posted on their Twitter account a picture showing Sabatini and Romei in a meeting in Rome.

The five players are tonight flying back to Italy, while the Lupi continue with their pre-season preparations.
