Milan talks for Bruno Fernandes

Portuguese media claim Milan are in negotiations for Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes, but a €70m deal seems unlikely.

Sporting had hoped to sell the former Sampdoria man to Manchester United, but the Premier League transfer window has now shut.

According to O Jogo, Sporting CP want only a cash sum of €70m, which was also want they asked Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for this summer.

A Bola, on the other hand, point to the Rossoneri proposals, which include €30m cash plus striker Andre Silva and Samu Castillejo.

Espanyol offer for Andre Silva

Espanyol are the latest club to track Milan striker Andre Silva, with a reported €25m proposal on the table.

The Rossoneri are eager to sell the Portugal international, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla, but they did not take up their option to buy.

He had a medical at Monaco, then the deal collapsed at the last minute when the Ligue 1 side pulled out.

Now La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Espanyol have approached Milan for Andre Silva, as the 23-year-old is the subject of a €25m offer.

Juventus wrong to ditch Cancelo

Selling Joao Cancelo to Manchester City and receiving an inconsistent Danilo in the deal makes no sense for Juventus, writes Anthony Barbagallo.

Juventus are renowned for making smart business decisions in transfer windows by snapping up free signings, producing savvy acquisitions and occasionally purchasing that star player. But ever since the Bianconeri signed Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot, Merih Demiral and Matthijs de Ligt, the Italian champions have lost their way in the latter stages of this current window.

Selling Moise Kean to English Premier League side Everton was a short-sighted move, with the club management only thinking about financial gain rather than building up a future Italian star.
