Nations League: Germany hit for six

Alvaro Morata opened the scoring in Spain’s historic 6-0 demolition of Germany, while Marko Rog saw red for Croatia in a 3-2 defeat to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.

The game of the night was undoubtedly in Seville, where Spain went head-to-head with Germany for the top of Group 4, and achieved it in quite extraordinary fashion.

Juventus striker Morata began the rout with a header at the back post, then saw yet another goal ruled offside, this one a decision that might’ve been overturned if VAR had been available.
