Report: United enquire for Di Lorenzo

Manchester United have reportedly made an enquiry for Napoli right-back Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

According to CalcioNapoli24, United reached out to Di Lorenzo’s agent last month, asking about his availability.

The 26-year-old only joined Napoli from Empoli last summer, signing a contract until 2024.

Despite the Partenopei’s poor overall campaign, he has held his own with two goals and seven assists, also showing his versatility by playing at left-back and in central defence.

Young: 'Italy leads by great example'

Inter wingback Ashley Young has claimed Italy leads by “great example to the world” and insisted “football doesn’t count” in times like these.

The former England international arrived at the Nerazzurri in January and was living in one of the first red zones of Italy in Lombardy.

The 34-year-old, who played five matches before the forced break, has praised Italy for the measures implemented.

Report: Roma ready to negotiate for Smalling

Roma are reportedly hoping to agree an affordable deal with Manchester United to keep the English centre-half Chris Smalling in the Italian capital.

The 30-year-old defender has been a revelation at the Olimpico and his performances at the Giallorossi allegedly made the Red Devils increase the asking price to €28m.

There’s no reported option to buy in the current loan deal between the two sides, but Roma want to bring the former Fulham youth to the Italian capital on a permanent deal after the current campaign.

Report: Godin wanted at Spurs

Tottenham are reportedly interested in bringing Inter outcast Diego Godin to London this summer, as Jose Mourinho returns for the Uruguayan defender.

The former Inter coach, now at the helm of Spurs, had allegedly tried to bring the centre-half to Old Trafford during his period as Manchester United boss.

Antonio Conte brought the former Atletico Madrid star to the Giuseppe Meazza last summer, but the veteran has not been able to convince in Milan and Inter could be willing to offload the 34-year-old after only one season.

Agent: 'Rossi wanted Viola return'

Agent Andrea Pastorello has claimed Real Salt Lake City star Giuseppe Rossi wanted a return to Fiorentina but “never had the opportunity”.

The former Italy international was released by Fiorentina in July 2017, after two stints on loan at Levante and Celta Vigo in La Liga but managed to mark his stay at the Artemio Franchi with 19 goals in 42 games for the Viola.

Man Utd to reduce Smalling fee if Koulibaly arrives

Barca sacrifice Griezmann for Lautaro?

Barcelona are putting Antoine Griezmann on the market for €100m to raise funds for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, claim reports in Spain.

According to Diario Sport, the Blaugrana have decided to sacrifice Griezmann in order to make way for Lautaro Martinez, just a year after he made the €120m move from Atletico Madrid.

Griezmann has contributed 14 goals and four assists in 37 competitive games for Barcelona.

Smalling takes pay cut for Roma?

Chris Smalling is eager to make his stay at Roma permanent and even take a pay cut, claim Italian reports, despite Manchester United and Arsenal interest.

The centre-back has rediscovered his form at the Olimpico, but the loan period is due to expire in June.

The Giallorossi made it clear from the start they wanted to purchase outright, paying €3m just for the one-season loan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Smalling has told Roma that he is prepared to take a pay cut in order to push the move through.
