Milan deal for Dalot, talks with Kabak

Milan are in advanced talks with Schalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak, while Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot flies in today for his medical.

The Rossoneri are bolstering their defensive options after qualifying for the Europa League group stage, as injuries continue to beset that area of the squad.

Dalot to fly in for Milan medical

Diogo Dalot is expected to arrive in Italy today for his Milan medical, completing the loan move from Manchester United, beating an offer from Roma.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal was struck late Friday night and the defender should already fly in for his medical today.

Roma had also made an approach for the right-back, but he has chosen the Rossoneri.

It’s reported Manchester United wanted a €30m fee for the 21-year-old, so Milan accepted a dry loan – without option to buy.

Report: Milan in advanced Dalot talks

Milan are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Manchester United over full-back Diogo Dalot.

The Portuguese defender has been linked with a move to Serie A and Milan are, according to Tuttomercatoweb, in pole position.

The talks are ongoing, but the report reveals the former FC Porto man is closer to Milan than Roma, who had joined the chase for the Portugal international.

Dalot moved to Manchester in July 2018 for €22m and could move to San Siro on loan with an option to buy.

Official: Pereira to Lazio

Lazio have officially announced the signing of Andreas Pereira, who arrives on loan from Manchester United.

The Manchester United midfielder arrived this morning for his medical and has completed the move to Lazio.

The 24-year-old scored two goals in 40 games for the Red Devils last term and has arrived to help Simone Inzaghi’s men in a busy season with play in the Champions League.

Fosu Mensah follows Smalling to Roma

Roma are close to finalizing the return of Chris Smalling in the Capital and according to Sky Sport Timothy Fosu-Mensah is expected to follow his team-mate at the Stadio Olimpico.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Smalling will sign a new € 3 million-a-year deal with Roma and the Giallorossi will play € 15 million to have him back at the club after his brilliant first season in Serie A. Smalling is not going to feature in tomorrow’s Udinese clash but Paulo Fonseca will count on him starting from after the International break.

Andreas Pereira arrives for Lazio

Andreas Pereira has arrived in Rome to complete his transfer from Manchester United to Lazio, on loan with €27m option to buy.

The official Aquile social media accounts released the video of the midfielder landing at the airport, greeted by photographers and supporters.

Pereira is 24 years old and came up through the Manchester United academy, with loan experiences at Granada and Valencia.

A deal was struck this week for a loan with option to buy for €27m at the end of the season.

Report: Douglas Costa rejects United

Juventus winger Douglas Costa has reportedly rejected a move to Manchester United and hopes to convince coach Andrea Pirlo at the Allianz Stadium.

Calciomercato.com reveals the Brazilian winger has decided to fight for a place in the Old Lady side, even if  sporting director Fabio Paratici needs to sell to unblock incoming operations.

The outlet reports Manchester United were ready to enter negotiations with Juventus over the former Bayern Munich attacker, but Douglas Costa has rejected a move to Old Trafford.

Report: Smalling close to Roma return

Roma are reportedly on the verge of signing Chris Smalling from Manchester United, having convinced the Premier League giants to sell for €15m.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports Giallorossi representatives travelled to Manchester to accelerate the talks and the newspaper reveals the defender is on his way back to the Olimpico.

The report says Smalling, who spent last season on loan in the Italian capital, has already reached an agreement with La Lupa over a four-year contract worth €3m a season.
