United believe in Pogba stay

Juventus’ hopes of buying back Paul Pogba look dead in the water as Manchester United and the midfielder seem ready to extend their relationship.

Juve were tipped to go all out for Pogba’s return before the coronavirus pandemic, but United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer announced this morning that he was confident the Frenchman would sign a new contract soon.

“Of course we want to keep the best players around the club and hopefully we can do something,” he said at a press conference.

Roma make new Smalling offer

Roma have reportedly made a new bid for Manchester United’s Chris Smalling, offering to sign him on another loan with €15m obligation to buy.

Smalling is due to return to United once Serie A finishes, with Roma only taking him on a dry loan at the start of the season and the Red Devils refusing to extend it for the Europa League.

Now, Nicolo Schira claims club advisor Franco Baldini has approached the Premier League giants with a new offer to keep the defender at the Olimpico.

Solskjaer doesn't regret transfer decisions

Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t regret letting Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Ashley Young move to Inter and claims he would do the same again.

The Nerazzurri signed Lukaku and loaned Sanchez last summer, before they picked up Young in January, but the Norwegian coach has claimed he wouldn’t change anything if he could go back in time.

'Osimhen not waiting for Prem calls'

Victor Osimhen’s representative has hit out at the ‘huge lie’ that the Lille forward is keeping Napoli on hold for a Premier League move.

Sources close to Osimhen told Football Italia just yesterday that Osimhen preferred an English club come forward for him.

Report: Lazio prepare to sell Milinkovic

Lazio are reportedly lowering the asking price for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and prepare to sell the Serbian after the current campaign.

President Claudio Lotito has previously asked €100m for the player, but Calciomercato.com claims he has decided to lower his expectations and let the star go for €70m this summer.

The outlet claims the Biancocelesti ace could therefore move abroad this summer, as the other Italian teams will struggle to meet the required amount to keep the attacking midfielder in Serie A.
