Allegri: 'Juve risked losing'

Max Allegri admits Juventus “risked losing” against Udinese and was happy with the 0-0 draw.

“We played badly in the first half and kept throwing the ball away, were too hasty trying to go forward and left ourselves open to the counter-attack,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We went closer to conceding a goal than scoring in the first half. After the break we were more solid and more careful with the ball, so only ran a couple of risks.

MLS approve Giovinco move?

Major League Soccer has reportedly given its OK for Toronto to bring forward their signing of Sebastian Giovinco from Juventus.

La Formica Atomica agreed a surprise deal with the Canadians earlier this month, to join them on a Bosman move in the summer.

However, the Old Lady has been  trying to accelerate his departure and it is reported that their efforts may yet bear fruit.

Allegri: 'Chievo are dangerous'

Max Allegri warned Juventus not to underestimate Chievo and glossed over the meeting with Antonio Conte.

Giovinco agent: ‘We thank Juve’

Sebastian Giovinco's agent says there is only gratitude felt towards Juventus for developing him into the player that is joining Toronto FC.

La Formica Atomica's move to Canada came as a move that surprised many and, according to reports, this included the Bianconeri.

However, the player's agent has looked to clarify that there is no ill feeling towards Juve, despite the decision to leave at the end of his current contract.

'No Italian offers' for Giovinco

Sebastian Giovinco could terminate his Juventus contract early to start work at Toronto FC, as his agent admits “there were no Italian offers.”

The Atomic Ant has already signed on for the MLS club from July, when he will be a free agent, but may well have played his last game for Juve anyway.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are negotiating the possibility of terminating the contract by mutual consent early.

It would allow Juve to save on six months of wages and the forward to begin settling into his new life in Canada.

Giovinco agent: 'Toronto critics ignorant'

Sebastian Giovinco’s agent said those criticising his move to Toronto FC are “ignorant” about the MLS.

The Juventus striker will be a free agent at the end of the Serie A season and already signed a contract with the Canadian club.

“Those criticising the decision to join Major League Soccer show they are ignorant about this sector,” agent Andrea D’Amico told alfredopedulla.com.

Toronto FC’s directors and current players have spoken out to express their delight at the capture of Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco.

Today’s statement confirming the 27-year-old’s agreement to move from Turin to Toronto on a Bosman deal in June contained reaction from Giovinco, as well as a number of his future MLS team’s current members.

Giovinco: ‘Excited by Toronto’

Sebastian Giovinco has greeted Toronto FC fans and expressed his excitement in agreeing to move to the MLS club this summer.

The Canadians have today confirmed that the 27-year-old will sign for them on undisclosed contractual terms at the expiry of his Juventus contract in June.

Whilst offering a brief greeting to his future club’s fans in a video message posted by Toronto, the Italy international was also quoted in the club’s Press release on the move.
