Inter draw with Hungarian side

Inter drew 2-2 with Hungarian club Haladas in a friendly today, as Hernanes and George Puscas were on target.

This was a special moment for Coach Roberto Mancini, as his son Andrea plays for Haladas and came on as a substitute.

The friendly was played at the Appiano Gentile training ground in Milan and was made up of two half-hour halves.

Hernanes converted a penalty to open the scoring, then Haladas turned it all around to lead 2-1, but deep into stoppages teenage striker Puscas secured a stalemate.

Hernanes: 'Moment of truth'

Hernanes believes Inter have reached “the moment of truth” against Atalanta, Celtic and Cagliari.

The midfielder spoke to fcinternews.it at an awards ceremony in Milan.

“In football things change quickly,” he said after a 3-0 victory over Palermo ended their run of three consecutive defeats in all competition.

“I don’t even want to talk about the period before that win, because it’s all water under the bridge. We must enjoy this moment and prove we are growing as a team.

Positive start, familiar problems

Roberto Mancini’s return to the Inter bench earned them a point in the Milan Derby, but as Varun Mathure writes there were some familiar problems too.

It was a good display which eventually satisfied the fans and the management, but Roberto Mancini will know there is some way to go before his new Inter is ready. But, a 1-1 draw against city rivals Milan in front of a packed San Siro wasn’t a bad way to start.

Mancini rolled out his 4-3-1-2 formation that he used extensively in his last stint at Inter. However, where once he had a midfield of Javier Zanetti, Patrick Vieira, Dejan Stankovic and Luis Figo, he started with Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Fredy Guarin, Joel Obi and Mateo Kovacic.
