Fiorentina join Fares chase

Fiorentina have joined Juventus and Napoli in tracking Hellas Verona wing-back Mohamed Fares.

The 22-year-old Algeria international can play in any role down the right flank, from full-back to winger and even as part of a trident attack at times.

According to Gazzamercato, Fiorentina director of sport Pantaleo Corvino has been in contact with his entourage this week to discuss the possibility of a summer move.

Juve and Napoli had already been linked with Fares, the Partenopei seeing him as an ideal alternative to Faouzi Ghoulam.

Lazio are hard hit, missing both Murgia – who was sent off in the 4-3 thriller at Fiorentina – and Luis Alberto, while the Viola have Marco Sportiello and German Pezzella out.

Wk33: Roma win, Milan stumble

Milan were pegged back by Torino, despite an Andrea Belotti penalty miss, while Roma got the better of Genoa and Sassuolo earned a big win at Verona.

Benevento are safe from the drop for the moment, as their 3-0 home loss to Atalanta keeps things in the balance because Crotone held Juventus 1-1 and SPAL were stalled by Chievo.
