Montella pleased with Ribery return

Vincenzo Montella was pleased with Franck Ribery’s performance after Fiorentina beat Virtus Entella 5-1 in a friendly.

The Serie B team was swept aside at the Stadio Franchi in this afternoon’s match, which allowed some – including Ribery after a three-match ban for pushing a linesman – to get playing time.

Rachid Ghezzal bagged a brace, with goals from Kevin-Prince Boateng, Pol Lirola and Marco Benassi.
