Amauri: 'Helped Juve win Scudetto'

Amauri has claimed that he was close to joining Milan in 2012 and that his goal against them helped Juventus win the first of their eight straight Scudetti.

Amauri signed for Juve in a €22.8m deal from Palermo back in the summer of 2008, but he scored just 24 goals in 100 appearances for the Bianconeri.

“[Joining Juve] a decision that I’d make again,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“There were off-field problems during my second season, a bit of everything was missing.

Moratti: 'Messi or Dybala for Lautaro'

Massimo Moratti would take Lionel Messi or Paulo Dybala for Lautaro Martinez and dismissed Juventus’ vow not to accept an assigned Scudetto.

Moratti has long campaigned for Messi’s arrival at Inter if he ever left Barcelona, and he reiterated that stance 10 years to the day since the Nerazzurri won the first part of their historic 2010 Treble.

Failing that, the 74-year-old also recommended another Argentine star.

Another Agnelli 'like' for no Scudetto

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli has ‘liked’ another Twitter post rejecting the idea of being awarded the Scudetto if the season ends early.

Twitter user @DirtyHarry1982 was responding to a tweet that announced Paris Saint-Germain had been handed the Ligue 1 title after the French campaign was abandoned.

“We don’t want to win that way. Even [Agnelli] said he’ll decline. I hope he follows through,” read the user’s message. “We aren’t Inter.”

Gravina: 'Appreciate Juve gesture'

FIGC President Gabriele Gravina says Juventus’ stance on not accepting the Scudetto if it was offered to them is ‘appreciated’ by his board.

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli hinted last month that he would not accept the Serie A title based on current standings, having ‘liked’ a Twitter post.

Although the stance is not official, Gravina agrees with the sentiment, that the Scudetto can only be won on the pitch.

Koulibaly: Scudetto still Napoli priority

Kalidou Koulibaly insists winning the Scudetto remains Napoli’s priority this season and that “I don’t care” about exit speculation.

Napoli are already six points behind Juve after seven rounds of Serie A fixtures, among them a dramatic 4-3 defeat to Bianconeri, which saw Koulibaly score a last-gasp own goal.

“Our objective remains to beat the best teams in Italy and win the Scudetto,” he told reporters from Senegal’s training camp.

Juve in fresh Calciopoli appeal

Juventus have launched a fresh appeal to have the 2005-06 Scudetto stripped from Inter just days before the Derby d’Italia.

Juve had the title revoked due to their role in the 2006 Calciopoli scandal, before it was given to Inter.

The Bianconeri have tried and failed in years gone by to at least deprive the Nerazzurri of that season’s crown.

However, it was confirmed on Monday that the Old Lady had presented a new appeal to the CONI’s Collegio di Garanzia dello Sport tribunal.

Khedira: Don't underplay Scudetto

Sami Khedira insists Juventus must not underplay their ‘special’ haul of eight straight Scudetti. “It shouldn’t be taken for granted.”

However, Khedira said from the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix: “This season we won an eighth consecutive title.

“It’s something special, which shouldn’t be taken for granted. It’s a great success.
