New Coppa Italia format: LIVE reactions

The Coppa Italia format will change from next season and the fans react. ‘The romance of the cup is dead’.

The tournament had been open to Serie C and even Serie D teams from the earliest stages, but the Lega opted to adjust to make the games more ‘appetising’ for TV rights and viewers.

Fans have reacted to the news that only the 20 Serie A and 20 Serie B clubs will participate, starting from next season.
