Lavezzi: 'My last PSG season'

Ezequiel Lavezzi alerted Juventus and Inter by declaring “this will be my last season at Paris Saint-Germain.”

The Argentine had already been expected to leave this summer, as his contract expires in June 2016, but ended up staying at Parc des Princes.

“I decided to remain because I have faith in this squad,” Pocho told Telefoot in France.

“The team is stronger than in previous years and competition for places excites me.

Juve step up for Lavezzi

After Inter were in talks over the summer, it’s rumoured Juventus could try to get Ezequiel Lavezzi from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentine hitman is in the final year of his contract at Parc des Princes and had considered an exit over the last few months.

Now Tuttosport claims Juve will pick up where Inter left off, seeing if the ex-Napoli striker would like a return to Serie A.

PSG were asking for €10m to release Pocho, but from January clubs can begin talking to the player directly for a deal as a free agent in July 2016.

Lavezzi: 'I must choose well'

Ezequiel Lavezzi admits “there is a chance I could leave” PSG and the Inter target “must choose well.”

The Argentine’s current deal is set to expire in June 2016 and a renewal is extremely unlikely, so Paris Saint-Germain must sell this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

“This is the last year of my contract with PSG and I have to reflect carefully so I can choose well,” Pocho told ESPN.
