Inter: Podolski out, Lavezzi in?

Inter could be planning on returning Lukas Podolski to Arsenal and going after Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi instead, say reports.

The German international joined the Nerazzurri on loan from the English club in January, but is not included in their Europa League squad list, whilst the club do not hold a purchase option.

‘Lavezzi difficult, not impossible. Toure…’

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio says signing Ezequiel Lavezzi is ‘difficult’ but not impossible and discusses Yaya Toure.

It has been suggested the the French club have promised the Nerazzurri first refusal on the Argentine, and while Ausilio denies this, he doesn’t rule out a move.

“It’s not true, but he’s a player we’ve always liked,” the director told Inter Channel.

Lavezzi ‘promised’ to Inter?

It’s reported that Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has been ‘promised’ to Inter in the summer.

The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked with the Argentinian, but moved for Xherdan Shaqiri and Lukas Podolski in this winter’s transfer window.

Corriere dello Sport believes though, that PSG have verbally agreed to sell Lavezzi to the Beneamata.

Napoli's Aurelio De Laurentiis rejects talk of selling Gonzalo Higuain, muses on a possible return for Ezequiel Lavezzi and maintains faith in Rafa Benitez.

The film mogul has commented today on continued speculation about a possible move away from the San Paolo for their star striker.

“I have no intention of selling Higuain,” De Laurentiis declared to Sky Sport 24, reiterating words from the player’s agent.

Osvaldo set to leave Inter?

Dani Osvaldo is reportedly in a complete break with Inter and with Coach Roberto Mancini, and will be offloaded by the club in January.

The striker had a furious on-pitch exchange with teammate Mauro Icardi, who did not pass him the ball on a counter-attack in the game against Juventus on Tuesday.

While Icardi claimed the episode was behind them, the argument was said to have continued in the players' corridor with Mancini.

Paris Saint-German have reported that Ezequiel Lavezzi will stay in the French capital to train, rather than join his teammates for the friendly against Inter.

The Argentinean was speculated earlier today as having failed to report for the Parisians’ training camp, as initially planned ahead of tomorrow’s match in Morocco against the Nerazzurri.
