Inter point to Lavezzi

Roberto Mancini has apparently clarified his need for a winger and a playmaker, as Ezequiel Lavezzi rows with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nerazzurri have on and off been linked with a move for the PSG forward this January, with it rumoured that the player is unhappy at his inconsistent playing time in the French capital.

The Gazzetta dello Sport today focus on two points to the speculation and indicate that a mid-season bid from the San Siro side remains a possibility.

PSG 'reflecting' on Lavezzi

Laurent Blanc confessed PSG are “reflecting on things” with Inter and Napoli target Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Pocho is eyeing a return to Serie A with his former club and the Nerazzurri both interested in a January swoop.

“Lavezzi had a difficult start to the season because he began training late and had an injury,” said Paris Saint-Germain Coach Blanc in a Press conference.

“Could we sell him? The only thing I know is that he has another year-and-a-half on his contract with us and we are reflecting on things.”

Lavezzi difficult for Inter

Inter’s interest in Ezequiel Lavezzi is complicated by the Argentinian’s wage demands, according to reports in the French Press.

The former Napoli forward has been consistently linked with a return to Italy, with the 29-year-old behind Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Paris Saint-Germain pecking order.

Lavezzi’s contract runs until 2016, but Le Parisien reports that the Argentinian is looking for a way out of PSG before then, with a move return to Italy favoured.

However, in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the club’s sporting director appeared to pour cold water on those rumours.
