Sanchez and Lautaro prepare for Bologna

Inter forwards Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez take advantage of the postponed World Cup qualifiers and prepare for Bologna.

Tuttosport reports the Chilean and the Argentine are two of three strikers who have remained at Pinetina, with Andrea Pinamonti still in training at Inter.

The newspaper predicts the two South Americans will start the match against Bologna on April 3, as they have been given a longer break.

CONMEBOL postpone March games

CONMEBOL have announced they’ve decided to postpone the 2022 World Cup qualifiers that were planned for later this month, as several clubs had threatened to withhold players.

The games would’ve been a logistical nightmare for those playing in Europe, because many would’ve faced not only long journeys across the world, but then having to self-isolate on arrival and upon their return due to COVID restrictions.

Quite a few big clubs had threatened to withhold players from international duty because of these issues.

Report: Lautaro to pen new Inter deal this month

One year after the proposed move to Barcelona, Lautaro Martinez is reportedly close to renewing with Inter until June 2024.

Maradona’s 'last video' before his death

Cronica TV  have published a video of Diego Armando Maradona recorded just a few days before his death. ‘I've taken a bump, but everything is fine,’ the Napoli legend said.

Maradona died on November 25 2020 following a cardiac arrest.

He had only turned 60 on October 30 and was released from hospital a couple of weeks ago following brain surgery.

Now, Cronica TV in Argentina have published a video recorded just a few days before his death.

Agent: 'Lautaro happy at Inter'

Lautaro Martinez’s agent met with Inter directors today and assure he is ‘happy’ at the club. ‘We did not talk about the release clause.’

Beto Yaque and his staff were at the Inter headquarters in Milan this afternoon and spoke to reporters on their way out.

“It was a meeting we had planned and were unable to do because of COVID, so we had to rearrange,” said Beto Yaque.

“Lautaro is happy at Inter.”

Juventus: Dybala misses fifth Serie A game

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala misses his fifth game in Serie A this term when the Old Lady play Parma on Saturday.

The Argentine suffered an injury towards the end of last season and struggled when Serie A resumed in September.

Brazilian legend Pelé wrote an emotional letter to Diego Armando Maradona seven days after the Argentine passed away. ‘I love you, Diego’.

The Napoli hero passed away last Wednesday at the age of 60 and messages and letters from the football world have praised and remembered the former Argentina international.

Maradona and Pelé, as the latter said in his letter, were compared to each other throughout, in a never-ending battle to crown the greatest footballer in history.

Could Maradona have been saved?

Horrific details are emerging in reports about Diego Armando Maradona’s physical condition and care in the days before his death, as there is an investigation into his doctors for manslaughter.

The Napoli and Argentina icon died last week at the age of 60, just weeks after leaving hospital following surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, Maradona was in such poor physical condition that he really should’ve been an intensive care ward and not simply allowed to go home, even with medical staff observing him.
