It is reported that Abel Hernandez will not sign a new contract at Hull City, sparking interest from Torino and Fiorentina.

The Uruguayan forward has been with the English Championship club for four years, having joined from Palermo in 2014.

However, he is poised to become a free agent after the Daily Mirror claimed he has turned down a new deal with the Tigers.

The 27-year-old is free to negotiate terms with other clubs and has been linked with a move to Hull’s Yorkshire rivals Leeds United.

Inter in talks for Strootman?

It is reported that Inter have opened talks with Roma over the potential signing of Kevin Strootman.

The Dutch midfielder, who has been at the Stadio Olimpico since joining from PSV Eindhoven in 2013, is said to be a priority for the Nerazzurri in this summer’s transfer window.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, negotiations are already underway between the two clubs over a possible deal, although the San Siro club are reluctant to pay the 28-year-old’s €45m release clause.

Genoa ’want ex-Serie A duo’

Genoa are reportedly in talks to sign former Palermo striker Abel Hernandez for next season, as well as bring back Domenico Criscito.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Hernandez has long been on Genoa’s radar, dating back to when owner Enrico Preziosi professed his love for the Uruguayan’s qualities in 2013.

The 27-year-old joined Hull from Palermo in 2014 and has scored 34 goals for the Tigers, but injury problems have limited him to just three appearances this season.

Fiorentina target Abel Hernandez

Fiorentina are reportedly planning a swoop for Hull City and Uruguay forward Abel Hernandez.

The striker is no stranger to Serie A, as Palermo sold him to the Tigers for €12m in September 2014.

He scored an impressive 20 goals in 39 Championship games this season.

According to calcionews24.com, a summit is planned over the next few days between Fiorentina and Hull City to discuss Hernandez.

The Uruguay international is in favour of a return to Italy and had already been the subject of a bid from Bologna.

Hernandez: ‘I’ll go back to Palermo’

Hull City’s Abel Hernandez wants to end his career at Palermo, and would return to Italy now for “Juventus, Napoli or Inter”.

The striker left the Rosanero to join the English side in 2014, but the Tigers were relegated at the end of the season.

Hernandez remained with the club though, and has scored 15 goals to help his team to the top of the Championship.
