Serie A Week 32 referees

The referees for Sunday’s Serie A fixtures have been confirmed, with Federico La Penna given Napoli-Milan.

La Penna has been one of the more card-happy referees this season, showing 82 yellows and five reds in his 16 games this season, while awarding 11 penalties.

Both sides have a mixed record with the Roman as Napoli have won just one of their three matches, conceding a spot-kick in the 4-2 defeat to Sampdoria.

As for Milan, he was the referee when they were thrashed 5-0 by Atalanta in January.

Malago wants fans back 'as soon as possible'

CONI President Giovanni Malago claims the low TV ratings in Italy are due to the lack of people in the stands and hopes to see fans in the stadium before the season is over.

Serie A has been carried out behind closed doors since the resumption and Malago thinks it has affected the viewer numbers.

He spoke at the Educamp presentation and his words were picked up by TMW: “For months they have thought us to respect the indications of the Technical and Scientific Commission (CTS).

Lasagna: 'Something's missing without Mandragora'

Udinese captain Kevin Lasagna wants to respond with a win against SPAL on Thursday but admitted losing Rolando Mandragora was a ‘big blow’ for the Friulians.

The Bianconeri forward spoke after having lost a 2-0 lead to late goals by Rossoblu attackers Goran Pandev and Andrea Pinamonti.

AIC discuss bringing Serie A kick-offs forward

Current chief Umberto Calcagno confirms the Players' Association is looking into the option of bringing Serie A matches forward by half an hour during the run-in.

The proposal needs the agreement from the players, who seem willing to bring the 18:30 UK time and 20:45 UK time matches forward, but Calcagno reveals the ones scheduled at 16:15 UK time are providing the current obstacle to reach an agreement.

Highlights: Udinese 2-2 Genoa

It was a dramatic finale to this relegation six-pointer, as Genoa came back from 2-0 down for a 2-2 draw with Udinese, despite a last-gasp penalty save.
